I’ve used these vials for 20 years to hold live grasshoppers between the field and the lab. Size Works well for this. Surprisingly, when time to sacrifice insects for inclusion in museum, the cyanide in insect kill jar passes through closed vial, killing the insect and keeping them clean for mounting on insect pins.

5 Thornton Proves Itself Over Foreign Manufacturers

I was researching buying from China in bulk for a bead bottling business I run. For all their ability to churn out different types of products I couldn't find a single Chinese manufacturer who'd create quality CLEAR pill bottles while keeping costs down. After much research I settled on buying American with Thornton Plastics. And boy am I glad I did. These 12 Dram bottles have quality as good as it gets, and the caps which at first glance look like they might come off easily - don't come off accidentally at all. Let this be a lesson - if the Chinese can do it, the Americans can definitely do it better. Now I've found a quality manufacturer I'll be sticking with Thornton Plastics. Thornton has one satisfied Canadian customer.
